This project is part of the Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust (BMHT) phase 2 programme to deliver 500 new houses per year. The site at Admington Road, Sheldon sits within an established suburban area close to Birmingham International Airport. The development consists of 32 no 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom houses all designed to HQI, Lifetime Homes and CfSH Level 4. The accommodation also features a fully wheelchair accessible dwelling designed in accordance with the Habinteg Wheelchair Housing Design Guide.

The contemporary dwellings of 2 and 3 storey are finished in brick and Trespa cladding with distinctive ‘lightwell chimneys’ to roofscapes.

A number of Community consultation events took place which were organised by BM3 Architecture and all of the proposals were presented to Local Ward Members.
