Blythe Bridge Library & Sixth Form Centre

ClientStaffordshire County Council
Cost£0.9m

Forming part of a larger package of work carried out on the High School site, the Library at Blythe Bridge has been extensively extended and refurbished. The brief was established over a period of 4 months and involved trying to devise a means of creating a single building that could be used by the High School, the public (Library) and the Council's Youth Services in the evenings.

The building is now well used by all three groups. The public entrance area serves the Library and Youth Service, and in a new extension a separate entrance was created for the School.
